L'Oréal Professionnel Homme Cover 5 is designed to quickly and discreetly cover gray hair in less than 5 minutes. Based on L'Oreal's patented Incell™ technology, Cover 5 provides natural and masculine results without leaving a visible hairline. This ammonia-free coloring gel restores hair pigments and strengthens it. Available in multiple shades to match your hair color. Recommended for men with 50% or less white hair.
Contains a blend of colorants selected and blended for different color results that are neither too warm nor too cool, but remain in the neutral range.
Unlike tone-on-tone dyes and permanent hair dyes, Cover 5' does not completely color white hair, but gives a harmonious combination between white hair and natural hair color for a more natural result. Enriched with L'Oréal Professionnel's patented Incell™ technology, designed to reinforce the hair's natural protection while sealing the cuticle and smoothing the surface.
Achieves natural results that last 4-6 weeks without unwanted warm tones or visible hairline.
How to use: Cover 5' should be mixed in a ratio of 1:1 with 20 Vol (6%) cream-oxidant. Do not use more than 20 Vol developer (6%). Use only the specified proportions. Mix in applicators and shake until completely mixed.
Application: Wear suitable disposable gloves. Do not use with metal tools (clips, comb, etc.) Apply the product to hair washed once with shampoo. Apply Cover 5', starting from the back. Apply to the crown area, starting from the nape of the neck first. Apply to the scalp, mid-lengths and ends. When you are finished at the back, continue to the front sectors apply in the same way. Apply quickly and precisely. Retouch if necessary. The time of action should not take more than 5 minutes. Rinse the hair well after the action time and shampoo with the recommended L'Oréal Professionnel Metal Detox. Dry and style.
Advices:
- Not recommended for men with over 50% white hair
- If you are dyeing your hair for the first time, please use one shade lighter than the desired result. The results may appear too dark for a man who has not previously or recently experienced hair coloring.
- Cover 5 is recommended to be used with cream-oxidant 20 vol 6%. Use of another oxidant may produce undesirable results.
- Blending in an applicator is recommended due to the runny consistency/texture.
- When using Cover 5, it is important to adhere to the recommended 5-minute exposure time. Processing Cover 5 for more than 5 minutes may result in darker than expected results and may also create a visible hairline.
- Do not use Cover 5 over henna. If you have previously dyed your hair with a different product and are in doubt, it is advisable to do a strand test (mixing/colouring a section of hair) or wait until the existing color has been cut.
- L'Oréal Professionnel does not recommend using Cover 5 for facial or body hair.
